National Smile Month

May is National Smile Month, with lots of resources around keeping your teeth healthy. Here are some that you might find useful:

Toothbrushing chart diary

3-6 years – tooth health leaflet

7 plus – tooth health leaflet

The Headsmart campaign

This campaign raises awareness of the signs and symptoms of childhood brain tumours – fortunately rare but nonetheless potentially devastating illnesses that often go undiagnosed until too late. This is a credit-card sized guide that lists the common signs and symptoms of brain tumours in children and young people across three age ranges. The symptom card also provides advice on what to do if your child is experiencing any of the symptoms, along with contact details for further support: headsmart-symptom-card-final
